short bio:

I am Moritz Erich, a creative professional from Cologne. I film, photograph, and write. Since 2010, I have been working as a freelance filmmaker – primarily as an editor – for TV and industry. Additionally, I run the film production company STORYVISIONS with my wife, Sanaz Erich.

long bio:

I am Moritz Erich. Born in 1986 in the Ruhr area, I live with my wife and daughter in Cologne. Beyond my family, I live and think passionately about writing, filming, and conceptualizing creative projects. Since 2010, I have been working freelance, primarily as a film editor (Premiere, DaVinci, Avid), but also as a cameraman, director, and writer for TV and industry. In addition to my professional assignments, I work on my own projects that explore the external structures of our world and, consequently, the inner human experiences that unfold within them. Together with my wife, I run the film production company STORYVISIONS to produce video content for responsible companies and organizations with technological, ecological, or social visions for the future. No matter where I am or what I'm doing, my eyes, hands, and vocal cords are always cre(a)tive. I love puns and almost never put my camera down—whether privately or professionally.
