FROM GAMER TO FILMMAKER

My story doesn't start at film school; it starts in the flicker of my gaming monitor. As a teenager, I edited video game footage into emotional sequences and shot music videos long before "Content Creator" was a job description. What started as play became a lifelong passion.

I turned that passion into my profession. I trained as a Media Designer in Image and Sound at one of Germany’s leading private media groups, learning my trade in a high-stakes environment from day one. I served as Head of Post-Production before going freelance in 2011. For over 15 years, I have worked as a freelance editor, cinematographer, and producer for major brands and TV broadcasters. I’ve traveled the world for Volkswagen, documented global political events like Barack Obama’s visit to Buchenwald, served as Lead Editor for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest national finals, and I deliver punchlines under high pressure for ZDF’s heute-show.
